True story, when I was at my lowest, I mean low....like dead broke, alone, emotionally suppressed, afraid, anxious, and battling my addictions, I wanted nothing more than to have someone help me get out of my rut. But I couldn't afford to ask for help and I was too proud to admit it.
I registered for an online therapist by downloading the Better Help app, but couldn't afford their incredibly low rate. They'd send me emails offering payment plans and still, I couldn't find the courage to ask someone to help me financially so that I can receive the help I desperately needed.
